DENVER (October 13, 2023) – Sherman & Howard is pleased to announce the addition of tax attorney Isaac Lodico to the Corporate & Transactional practice group in their Denver office.

For more than a decade, Lodico taught graduate courses in taxation law, but now he is shifting gears and using his knowledge of the complex tax code to aid clients with their business needs.

“We are excited to have Isaac join our team,” said Corporate & Transactional Practice Group Leader Lyle Wallace. “His background as a teacher and his deep knowledge of the tax code, tax policy, and tax law are an incredible benefit to our clients.”

Lodico’s vast knowledge includes corporate taxation, consolidated returns, tax procedure, natural resources taxation, property taxation, fiduciary income taxation, and tax research.

“Part of what drew me to tax law was the uniqueness of the practice and its importance to clients. Everyone deals with the tax code in one way or another, and I enjoy being the person to assist others in navigating this complex body of law,” said Lodico.

Lodico received his Juris Doctor from the University of California College of Law (fka Hastings) in San Francisco and earned his LL.M. at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he taught taxation law and served as the associate director and interim director of the Graduate Tax Program.
