Hannah Mink to Chair Panel Discussion About Chile v. Bolivia Transboundary Waters Decision

Sherman & Howard water law attorney and former editor-in-chief of the Wyoming Law Review Hannah Mink will chair a panel discussion at the University of Wyoming College of Law for the Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law (CCTL) Environmental, Energy and Climate Law Cluster and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Joint Seminar about the Chile v. Bolivia transboundary waters decision regarding the dispute and use of the Silala River.

The panel discussion will explore the details of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) decision regarding the Silala River and how, if at all, the decision is significant not only for the two countries’ legal relations but for the global community and broader evolution of international water law.

In addition to the panel, this event will formally launch the Wyoming Law Review special issue “Transboundary Waters: The Río Silala & The International Court of Justice.” Mink co-authored the introduction to the special issue, and public finance attorney Jessie Salas was on the Wyoming Law Review Board as research editor.

Attend this discussion virtually on November 8 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. MT.
