Jessie Salas practices in the firm’s Public Finance practice area, where she assists on a variety of public finance transactions, including as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and in other roles as needed.
She joined Sherman & Howard after completing the firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2022.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessie served as a summer law clerk for Strive Health in Denver, where she gained valuable experience in the healthcare industry. In her role, she researched and drafted memoranda on a variety of topics including telehealth legislation, enforceability of non-compete agreements and antitrust compliance. In this role, Jessie collaborated with multiple attorneys on projects with complex deadlines; provided general counsel with quick reference guides to healthcare legislation across a variety of markets; and reviewed company contracts for document retention requirements and researched document retention best practices.
She is an accomplished, classically trained cellist who has a Masters of Music from the University of Wyoming.
