DENVER (February 28, 2024) – Sherman & Howard corporate and transactional attorney Diana Devot has been selected to participate in the Downtown Denver Leadership Program (DDLP) for 2024.

“I’m excited to participate in the program, which will provide me with the opportunity to build relationships with community leaders, gain insight on the economic development of Downtown Denver, and strengthen my leadership skills,” said Devot.

With more than a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities, contracts, and general corporate law across a broad spectrum of industries, Devot represents a broad range of clients, including pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, staffing companies, ski resorts, fitness studios, restaurants, IT companies, oil & gas/natural resource firms, food processing companies, consulting companies, cannabis companies, and many others.

Diana has a unique understanding of her clients’ needs, whether a startup or a Fortune 200 company. Her knowledge of the various complexities of corporate law and SEC reporting enables her to offer support and insight to clients at every stage of their life cycle.

During the pandemic, Diana used the time to become an EMT and IV certified. She volunteers with Highland Rescue Team Ambulance in Golden, Colorado, where she spends three 12-hour shifts a month helping others.

For more than 20 years, the DDLP has been instrumental in developing Downtown Denver’s future leaders. Throughout the 9-month leadership program, participants will cultivate important professional relationships, learn about the unique leadership opportunities and challenges that exist in a downtown environment, and engage in experiential learning projects.
