Chris Kenney practices in our Business and Real Estate group and was a 2022 summer associate at the firm.

He previously served as a legal extern for RTI International in North Carolina. While there he supported the contractual needs of the business unit by performing research and analysis of contract requirements, special provisions, statutes, and regulations.

Prior to attending law school at UNC School of Law, Chris served as an Army officer and exited the Army at the rank of captain. During his time in the Army, he held various leadership positions. Notably, Chris served as the head of logistics for a multifunctional medical unit at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. As the head of logistics, he led a team tasked with the management of organizational property; conducted investigations into the loss of property and misappropriation of funds; evaluated organizational spending for regulatory compliance; and established budget projections and developed annual spending glide paths.
