Reminder: Electronic Submission of 300A Forms Due to OSHA by July 1

By Pat Miller, Dana Svendsen, Chuck Newcom, Matt Morrison, and Alyssa Levy

Employers who had 250 or more employees at an establishment at any point during 2017 and who are required to keep OSHA injury and illness logs are required to electronically submit their 2017 OSHA 300A Annual Summaries by July 1, 2018. This requirement also applies to employers in certain high hazard industries that had 20-249 employees at an establishment in 2017. For a list of these industries, click here.

At this time, OSHA is not accepting electronic submissions of 300 or 301 forms, as the Agency is considering changes to the requirement to submit those records. For instructions as to how to submit your 300A form, click here.
