S&H Attorney Featured Speaker at OSHA Inspection Workshop

Sherman & Howard attorney Pat Miller will be a featured speaker in a half-day workshop, “How to Survive an OSHA Inspection,” from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. April 11 at CCIG in Englewood. This workshop is for human resource professionals, safety professionals, business owners, and those with managerial responsibility for safety.

Miller will explain why the Occupational Safety and Health Administration performs inspections, employers’ rights, how to avoid or minimize violations, and how to handle citations and penalties.

He has spent more than 20 years assisting companies in developing and implementing workplace safety and health policies and programs, focusing on OSHA and Mine Safety and Health Administration requirements. He defends companies in litigation before the federal Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, the federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission, and many state-plan occupational safety and health boards.

Miller will present alongside Gary Glader, safety practice leader for CCIG.
