Matthew Hesketh Tapped for Arizona Educational Foundation Board Position

January 16, 2017 – Matthew Hesketh, an attorney with Sherman & Howard, has joined the board of directors of the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF). The Foundation is a local nonprofit dedicated to the development and celebration of excellence in pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade public education throughout the state.

“AEF’s board of directors is an incredible group of dedicated individuals who truly understand the power of recognizing and celebrating excellence in students, teachers, administrators and schools across our state,” said AEF Executive Director Bobbie O’Boyle. “We’re thrilled to welcome Matt to the board.”

Education is very important to Matt, who said: “My mom was a public school teacher for over 30 years. Several other family members taught in public schools for nearly as long. I know firsthand their dedication and hard work. And I know the meaningful impact they have on our community. We have amazing teachers in Arizona, and I strongly support AEF’s mission to develop and promote excellence in public education. I am honored and excited for the privilege and opportunity to join with AEF in that mission.”
