COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 11, 2022) – Sherman & Howard announces that Blair Carter has joined the firm’s Colorado Springs office as an Associate in the Litigation, Trials & Appeals Group.  Prior to joining Sherman & Howard, Ms. Carter was an Associate at Sears & Associates and worked in the private sector as a consultant and government contractor.

Ms. Carter attended the United States Naval Academy, where she was recognized as the National Women’s Relief Corps Outstanding Brigade Sub Commander and was selected for the Navy’s Nuclear Power (Surface Warfare) program in South Carolina.  Ms. Carter graduated 1st in her class from the program’s Protype training.  She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where she served on the editorial board of the Virginia Tax Review and as vice president of Virginia Law Women.  She also completed a Master of Engineering Management Program at Old Dominion University.
