This year has seen a record number of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. More than 400 bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the United States – already more than double the number in all of 2022. On June 29, please join us for an engaging discussion with distinguished LGBTQ+ educator Leo Caldwell as we recognize Pride Month. We’ll learn about the current legislative action impacting the LGBTQ+ communities and discuss the special focus the legislation brings on the transgender community as well as the impact on bodily autonomy and parental rights. We will cover a baseline understanding of the transgender community, which makes up 1.6% of the US population, and the disproportionate amount of legislation concerning that community introduced across 45 states. Finally, we’ll discuss the importance of allyship and ways you can support the LGBTQ+ community.

Join us from 4:30 – 5:30 pm MDT for the presentation and Q&A followed by a networking reception from 5:30 – 7:00 pm MDT in the Summit Rooms on the 23rd floor of our office building in Denver. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual connectivity through Zoom will be available.
