James Eklund to Address Critical Water Issues at the Law of the Colorado River Annual Conference

Sherman & Howard water law attorney and rancher James Eklund is co-chairing the Law of the Colorado River conference where he will join government officials, scientists, practitioners, and thought leaders discussing critical water issues. He will be joined by Assistant Secretary Mike Connor (US Army Corps of Engineers), Deputy Commissioner David Palumbo (Bureau of Reclamation), and many others to discuss the current status, different perspectives, and solutions/next steps on the Colorado River.

This conference will run from May 6-7, 2024, at the Embassy Suites in downtown Denver. Attend the discussion “Agricultural Perspectives: Views from the Upper and Lower Basin” from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on May 7, 2024. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits will be available for this program.
