Jackie Benson Appointed to Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center Board

Jackie Benson has been appointed to the Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center (RMEOC) board, a nonprofit organization focused on building a more just and sustainable economy through employee ownership.

Benson is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Transactional practice group and has two decades of experience counseling entrepreneurs, companies, and investors about corporate transactions and contracts.

“I’m excited to join the board of the Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center and help achieve their goal of increasing employee ownership across the Rocky Mountain region,” said Benson. Working so closely with business owners, RMEOC’s mission is close to Benson’s heart. Not only do they work to help other businesses become employee-owned, but they also help create wealth for working people and help close race and gender wealth gaps.

Benson succeeds S&H attorney George Tsai, who served on the RMEOC board for the past four years.

RMEOC was founded in 2012 by Bill Kirton and Dick Peterson who understood the power of employee ownership and maintain the belief that a just economy is one that works for everyone.
