Shawn Cheadle leverages his aerospace experience and passion for understanding complex aerospace and defense technologies when advising clients in space law and government contracts.

Known for his responsiveness and tenaciousness, Shawn brings a unique combination of understanding technology and business needs to help create the best possible solutions, deals, and contracts for his clients.

After 15 years as a general counsel of divisions within Lockheed Martin Space (LM Space), Shawn is experienced with a wide variety of areas within the aerospace industry, including corporate governance; mergers and acquisitions; international agreements; litigation, investigations, e-Discovery, and records management; government and commercial contracts, satellite and missile defense programs; space law matters; supply chain and compliance – government, commercial, and construction contracts; launch and payload processing; and facility operations and services and security.

Shawn is a proven leader, motivator, and collaborator. Whether a captain of his football team, the manager of a legal team, or co-leader for the Aerospace practice at the firm, his ability to create effective partnerships with businesses and strategically plan and execute matters to meet their needs makes him a trusted advisor and business partner.
