Emily Girkins focuses her practice on labor and employment law. Previously, she worked as a law clerk at the firm in commercial, construction, and employment litigation, when she drafted responses regarding presumptive unemployment in unemployment insurance claims, a mandatory plaintiff joinder, and trial conclusions of law.

Emily also has experience drafting petitions for special action before Arizona Court of Appeals; motions in limine regarding improper references to superior court opinions, prior claims against defendant clients, etc.; trial memoranda of law; replies in support of Daubert motions; statutory motions to bifurcate trial into liability and damages phases; trial conclusions of law; responses to motion for summary judgement and motion for reconsideration; and memos regarding jurisdiction and applicable law in Tribal or Federal Court.

She also worked as a legal extern at the Arizona State University Office of General Counsel.
