When DJ Trump’s daughter introduced him at the party convention, she announced (to more than a few gasps) that DJ would “work for equal pay for equal work,” and that she would “fight for this too, right along side of him.” Of course, VP-elect Pence wasn’t on stage at the time, but Ivanka seems to expect to influence the social policies advanced in the Trump administration. Ivanka’s advice might not resonate with some supporters of our President-Elect, but Ivanka’s prominence in the campaign hints at unexpected twists ahead. Hold on tight. Maybe the EEOC will keep collecting wage data on the EEO-1 and will develop new, creative statistical analyses to drive systemic investigations.
