Last week, the Department of Labor and the Department of Treasury issued three pieces of guidance extending certain deadlines as a result of the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. These guidelines will impact employee benefit plans for months to come, and employers and plan sponsors will need to take steps now to prepare.
