DENVER (Feb. 16, 2023) – Sherman & Howard’s Milton “Skip” Smith has been recognized again by Who’s Who Legal as one of 16 attorneys in the United States with expertise in laws regarding space and satellites.

Skip has become a renowned speaker across the world in space and satellite law and recently returned from speaking at the Israeli Space Conference.  In 2022, Skip represented one of the private astronauts on the first all-private mission to the space station. He represents clients in nearly every segment of the aerospace industry, from large companies to startup ventures and from manufacturers to launch service providers and in-orbit service providers. During his Air Force career, Skip held several significant leadership positions including Director of Space Law at Air Force Space Command and Chief of Space Law for the Air Force. He has a Doctorate in space law from the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University.
