(June 7, 2022) – The American Lawyer published an article discussing how the growth of smaller metropolitan areas and non-metropolitan counties has created a variety of opportunities for midsize law firms. This growth can be attributed to the decline in the population of the major cities, such as New York and Los Angeles. Now, midsize law firms are able to create new client relationships with high-net-worth individuals and businesses and recruit a wider range of talent since the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the model of many workplaces, allowing more employees to work remotely and thus removing the geographical barrier.
