The American College of Construction Lawyers Names Stephen Hess a Fellow

November 15, 2018Stephen Hess has been named a Fellow of The American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). The ACCL was founded in 1989 and is an invitation-only association of construction law practitioners, professors and judges with members from the US, Canada, Britain, Australia and France. Fellowship is extended to practitioners who have demonstrated a mastery over the practice or teaching of construction law and dispute resolution, and whose careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, collegiality, and professionalism. Each selected Fellow must also have maintained a commitment towards giving back to the construction industry. Through his membership, Stephen will have access to a professional forum that seeks to explore and analyze industry developments arising nationally and internationally.

As a Member in the firm’s Construction Industry Practice Group, Stephen serves as general outside counsel to a number of construction and real property-related business, including developers, general contractors, design professionals and large subcontractors. He also represents elite and Olympic athletes and National Governing Bodies in disputes involving Olympic and international competition. Stephen is an adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and is a “Recognized Practitioner” in Chambers USA for the area of Sports Law.
