Space Law With Skip Smith

March 30, 2018 – The March issue of the Colorado Lawyer featured a published article by Skip Smith, “A Space Law Primer for Colorado Lawyers Part 1: International Space Law.” In this article, Mr. Smith reviewed the primary components of space law: International Space Law and U. S. National Space Law.

International Space Law is mainly treaties and other international agreements. Whereas Domestic Space Law expands on more detailed laws and regulations that are applicable to space activities.

“Why is space law relevant to Colorado lawyers? it’s simple: Colorado has the second largest aerospace economy in the United States, with more than 400 aerospace companies and over 25,000 private aerospace workers,” Mr. Smith said in the article.
