Sherman & Howard Welcomes 8 Summer Associates

DENVER (May 30, 2023) – Sherman & Howard is pleased to welcome eight summer associates to their 2023 program, which introduces aspiring attorneys not only to the law firm, but also to a variety of areas of the law through active mentorship and educational programming.

“We’ve developed a highly engaging and interactive program to help develop summer associates’ legal skills and provide firsthand experience into what it’s like to be a lawyer at our firm,” said Stefan Stein, chief executive officer and member at Sherman & Howard. “Mentoring aspiring attorneys and seeing them grow through exposure to different industries and practice areas is a rewarding experience, and we look forward to having them here for the summer.”

“Our incoming summer associates will work on meaningful projects for Sherman & Howard’s attorneys and clients, gaining real-world experience and allowing them to hone areas of interest and work that complement their skillsets,” said Nick DeWeese, member and chair of the Summer Associate Program. “The program also includes the Capstone project, which is a challenging, deep-dive, issue-specific assignment that enables the summer associates to demonstrate their research, writing, oral presentation, and time-management skills.”

This year’s summer class includes students from schools located across the country including William & Mary, UCLA, the University of Houston, Penn State, and the University of Denver.
