Sherman & Howard adds to its Labor and Employment Group in Denver with the addition of attorney Iris Lozano

DENVER (Sept. 16, 2022) – Sherman & Howard has added Iris Lozano as its newest attorney in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group, where she will be able to draw from her years of experience leading human resources organizations to help advocate for her clients in labor and employment law.

“We are so pleased to add Iris to our talented team of employment attorneys.  She will be a great resource for our corporate clients to help counsel them on employment issues and help them navigate the often complex world of employment disputes,” said Brooke Colaizzi, the firm’s practice group leader for Labor and Employment. “Her extensive experience as a human resources professional prior to law school makes her well-suited to understand our clients’ day-to-day employment issues and as a practical problem-solver.”

Iris spent more than 15 years in human resources in rapidly growing entrepreneurial-spirited organizations where she managed the administration of compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and employee training and development. She also has experience working on corporate matters in the high tech, manufacturing, financial, and construction industries. Iris also spent five years running a small business. One thing she prides herself on is her commitment to understanding her clients’ business and issues at hand.

Prior to Sherman & Howard, Iris was an associate at a large labor and employment defense firm.
