Patrick Scully was interviewed twice recently on radio stations KOA 850 AM and 94.1 FM to discuss the ongoing United Auto Workers (UAW) union strike. On his first appearance, Scully, who is considered an authority on labor relations matters, talked about the UAW’s strategic approach to this strike, the expectations in the negotiation between the union and automakers, and how public opinion factors into the success of walkouts.

In his second interview with the radio stations, Scully discussed President Biden joining the picket line to voice his support of union workers along with the impact emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) may have on job preservation.
