Melissa Reagan and Christian Hendrickson Quoted in Local Newspaper for their Attentive Client-Centered Approach

July 5, 2018 – Melissa Reagan, and Christian Hendrickson, Members in Sherman & Howard’s Litigation Group, were quoted in Magicvalley Newspaper, “Resident Appeals County’s Decision on Cellphone Tower” for their diligent work with a telecommunications client.

In April, the Twin Falls County Planning and Zoning Department in Idaho, gave approval for a telecommunications company to build a cellphone tower that will help give the community better cell phone coverage. Following the decision, a resident of Twin Falls, filed an appeal stating the decision was made even though the public expressed their concerns for the tower and the possible consequences it may have on property values and wildlife in the area. The appeal is currently under the review of Twin Falls County Commissioners office manager, Shannon Carter to determine if the appeal is complete. If it is decided that the appeal is complete, the Twin Falls County Commissioners will make a decision on the appeal.

“Our client recognizes and supports all citizens’ rights to voice their opinion,” attorneys Christian Hendrickson and Melissa Reagan wrote “But this opinion does not change the fact the application was Code-compliant, it seeks a Conditional Use Permit to construct a Code-compliant facility, and many others in the area want and need the service this facility would provide.”
