Law Week Colorado Highlights Arrival of Sherman & Howard’s 2024 Summer Associates

Law Week Colorado featured Sherman & Howard’s 2024 Summer Associate Class in two articles, one for its newsroom and the other as a Legal Lowdown. Both articles highlighted the opportunities the firm’s summer program offers, the return of three law students to the firm, and the summer associates’ backgrounds and experiences.

Below is an excerpt from the article.

Sherman & Howard announced May 28 it welcomed eight summer associates to its 2024 program.

“We are looking forward to these eight exceptional law students joining us for the summer,” Sherman & Howard member and CEO Stefan Stein said in a news release. “Over the next eight weeks, they will develop invaluable legal skills, build meaningful relationships, and experience what it’s like to be an attorney at our firm.”

“Our students will have the opportunity to dive into a variety of practice areas,” Sherman & Howard member and Summer Associate Program chair Jackie Benson said in a news release. “They will work side by side with Sherman & Howard attorneys on active matters, attend client meetings and court appearances, and participate in a Capstone project. It will be an incredible summer where students will learn and begin to grow into the lawyers they aspire to be.”

According to the announcement, Camila Gutierrez Writtenberry and Sasha Shadrina are participating in the program for the second consecutive summer, and Cornelius Foxworth II returns to the firm after previously serving as a practice assistant in the business and real estate practice group.
