Title VII prohibits discrimination “because of sex.” The meaning of “sex” is not as simple as it used to be. This presentation examines status of the law as it applies to:

• Sexual orientation
• Transgender status
• Gender identity in the workplace

We will provide employers with the information necessary to recognize and prevent discrimination or harassment issues related to the expanded definition of “sex.”
