DENVER, Colo. (September 1, 2020) – Sherman & Howard lawyer Richard Tegtmeier represented a client against felony charges of attempting to influence a public servant or essentially making a false statement with regard to a short-term rental license. The City of Denver, which only issues short-term residential licenses for homes that are considered the “primary residence,” suspected the home was not the client’s primary residence. Richard Tegtmeier achieved the successful dismissal of the charges in mid-July.
