Breakfast Briefing: Colorado Wage Order: Monumental Changes Afoot

In a dramatic shift affecting every employer doing business in Colorado, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has proposed replacing Minimum Wage Order #35 with COMPS (Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards) Order #36. Anticipated to go into effect March 1, 2020, the COMPS Order will massively expand coverage, increase the exempt salary threshold beyond the federal threshold, modify existing exemptions, and impose new posting requirements.

Join Sherman & Howard attorneys Brooke Colaizzi and Carissa Davis for a presentation covering the proposed changes and implications of the new COMPS Order, and learn how to make your voice heard during the rule-making process.

This presentation is ideal for human resources professionals, business owners, C-suite executives, and in-house counsel. Participate in-person at our downtown Denver office or via webinar!
