3 Sherman & Howard Members Recognized in 2022 Edition of Barrister’s Best
DENVER (November 2, 2022) – Three of Sherman & Howard’s (S&H) members have been recognized in their respective practice areas in Law Week Colorado’s 2022 Barrister’s Best edition.
Barrister’s Best featured People’s Choice and Barrister’s Choice selections in several categories.
- James Eklund was recognized as the People’s Choice for water lawyer. “Serving as the lead signatory and negotiator for Colorado River Drought Contingency Plan and the director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board, he became known for his mixture of diplomacy and crafting common ground between opposing interests,” according to his nomination in the publication.
- Skip Netzorg was recognized as Barrister’s Choice as a mediator. “With his past experience as a trial lawyer making him a popular mediator, Skip Netzorg has negotiated multibillion-dollar disputes. He’s made repeat appearances in Chambers USA, Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in addition to being named in our Barrister’s Best issue last year in this category,” the publication noted.
- John Wylie was recognized as the People’s Choice for nonprofit lawyer. His nominator stated he is a “nonprofit lawyer of nearly 40 years, advising nonprofits on governance and First Amendment issues.” He’s been a regular in Best Lawyers’ nonprofit and charities law category categories since 2013.
