The Denver office of Sherman & Howard is seeking a dynamic Legal Secretary in its Labor & Employment Department. This position is responsible for providing secretarial, organizational and administrative support for attorneys and paralegals. The Legal Secretary will prepare various documents including briefs, subpoenas, spreadsheets, and other correspondence. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, the secretary will organize and maintain all legal files (paper and electronic) and provide additional assistance such as helping with research for cases, gathering necessary documents for trials and submitting paperwork to courthouses and administrative agencies. Other duties include scheduling client appointments, answering calls, taking notes during legal meetings and handling electronic filing in both state and federal courts.

Word Processing Operator – Denver

The Denver office of Sherman & Howard is seeking a Word Processing Operator. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate document production in various software applications, utilizing the Firm’s specifications, templates and formatting requirements. The Word Processing Operator will also provide varied support on projects for attorneys and legal staff as needed, ranging from large scale projects to smaller administrative tasks.  These include assisting with typing projects, general correspondence, assisting with e-filings, processing check requests, scanning and uploading documents into the DM, etc. Above all, he/she must participate as a team member, becoming familiar with departmental policies and procedures, responding to internal and external needs in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

Paralegal – Business & Real Estate – Denver

The Denver office of Sherman & Howard is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Accounting Department. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments to include receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices, processing check requests, scanning and filing invoices and maintaining vendor files. Above all, he/she must participate as a team member of the Accounting department and office, responding to internal and external needs in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
