The Denver office of Sherman & Howard is seeking a dynamic Legal Secretary in its Labor & Employment Department. This position is responsible for providing secretarial, organizational and administrative support for attorneys and paralegals. The Legal Secretary will prepare various documents including briefs, subpoenas, spreadsheets, and other correspondence. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, the secretary will organize and maintain all legal files (paper and electronic) and provide additional assistance such as helping with research for cases, gathering necessary documents for trials and submitting paperwork to courthouses and administrative agencies. Other duties include scheduling client appointments, answering calls, taking notes during legal meetings and handling electronic filing in both state and federal courts.
