The Phoenix office of Sherman & Howard is seeking a dynamic legal secretary in its Litigation Department with extensive experience with Bankruptcy courts and e-filings. The legal secretary will provide organizational and administrative support for attorneys and paralegals and prepare various documents including briefs, subpoenas, spreadsheets, and other correspondence. In addition to heavy word processing, editing and filing, the secretary will organize and maintain all legal files kept on-site whether in paper or electronic format. The legal secretary may provide additional assistance such as helping with research for cases, gathering necessary documents for trials and submitting paperwork to courthouses and administrative agencies. Other duties may include scheduling client appointments, answering calls, and handling electronic filing in bankruptcy, state and federal courts.
