Matt Gray is a member in the Public Finance Group. He has experience representing state and municipal issuers, underwriters, banks, and other participants in Public Finance transactions. Matt currently serves as a State Representative for House District 33 in the Colorado General Assembly. Matt started his career at Sherman & Howard in 2006 and left to join the 17th Judicial District of Colorado as a Deputy District Attorney in 2012 and re-joined the firm in August 2016.

Representative Matters
  • Advises local governments regarding debt issues, lease-purchase transactions, elections, sales and property taxes, and other municipal functions. Participated in public outreach programs to help citizens understand the process of planning and financing municipal capital improvements.
  • Updates local governments on the effects of new legislation and pending constitutional
  • Prosecuted hundreds of crimes and completed over 20 jury trials involving expert testimony, forensic testing, and preparation of citizen witnesses as Deputy District Attorney for the 17th Judicial District of Colorado.
