Kathy Odle is a Member in Sherman & Howard’s Employee Benefits Practice Group and has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic advice to employers on all aspects of their employee benefits, including retirement plans, welfare benefits, executive compensation and equity-based plans. Kathy assists employers with maintaining compliance with IRS and ERISA regulations, and in correcting errors involving employee benefit plans.

Representative Matters
  • Provides day-to-day advice to all sizes and types of employers, including publicly traded entities, non-profit entities and governmental employers, on all aspects of employee benefits.
  • Provides advice on design and documentation for qualified plans, including ESOP and 401(k) plans, executive compensation and deferred compensation arrangements (including 409A compliance), equity arrangements, and health and welfare plans.
  • Advises clients regarding compliance with applicable laws and correction of plan errors, defends IRS and Department of Labor audits, and performs compliance audits and reviews for benefit plans.
