Diana Wendel has approximately 30 years of experience representing clients in multi-million dollar transactions in commercial real estate and business matters.

Her areas of practice include real estate, financing, business and commercial law. She has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and sales, lending and foreclosure transactions, construction law matters, commercial leasing, community associations and general real estate development. Diana also has experience in financing, business and commercial law matters, including complicated financing transactions (secured and unsecured transactions, as well as multi-lender and multi-state collateralized transactions), acquisition transactions, entity organization and administration issues, and general contract and commercial law matters.

Experience

  • Multiple financing transactions, including multi-state collateralized financing transactions, acquisition financing and construction loans from $5,000,000 to $300,000,000.
  • $80,000,000 investment in entity owning portfolio of properties and real estate interests.
  • Acquisitions, development, sales and financings of vacant land, improved property, exclusive farm and ranch and mountain properties, golf courses, industrial, hotel, office, corporate campus facilities, retail and shopping center premises throughout the country, including $150,000,000 corporate campus facility with multiple office and service buildings, and $200,000,000 hotel project.
  • Acquisition and sales of multi-state owned and leased properties throughout the country, in both stock and asset transactions.
  • Acquisition and financing of over one million acres in a single transaction.
  • Construction documents with contractors, architects, and other design professionals ranging from $10,000,000 to $200,000,000 for commercial, office, shopping center, airport, and medical facilities.
  • Office, retail, shopping center, warehouse, industrial, ground leases, build-to-suit leases, restaurant and medical leases, ranging from 5,000 to 330,000 square feet, single tenant and multi-tenant premises.
  • Long-term representation (more than 10 years) of single landlord client owning multiple office buildings, and long term representation (over 10 years) of single tenant client opening and operating numerous commercial retail buildings and premises in several states.
  • Development, subdivision and covenants for residential communities and resort development projects, including single family, condominiums, townhomes, and golf course communities.
  • Formation and operational issues of corporations, limited liability companies and other entities.
  • Preparation and negotiation of various business contracts, including management contracts, service contracts and other business agreements and commercial law matters.
