Carissa Davis believes in being proactive, rather than reactive, to help her clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of labor and employment law and manage risks.

Carissa provides all-inclusive services involving federal and state anti-discrimination law, wage and hour law, restrictive covenants, and traditional labor matters. She has been on the front line in interpreting state and federal statutes and regulations and strives to ensure her clients are in compliance with groundbreaking and nuanced labor and employment mandates.

She provides labor and employment litigation defense services to a variety of industries, including healthcare, insurance, and industrial. She also works with employers to mitigate risk and develop and implement compliance plans to promote harmonious work environments.

Carissa works to ensure her clients are in the best position, even if that requires difficult conversations. Her ability to build trusting relationships with her clients can be attributed to her personal and equal investment in their successes. She strives to make each client’s job easier by communicating complex laws in a meaningful way and paying attention to every detail, ensuring her counsel is thorough and precise.

She is well-respected for her personal standards and ethics. Her personable style makes her easy to work with, helping to ensure a collaborative environment to achieve results.

Carissa gained a wide range of experience in her previous legal roles as an intern at the Colorado Court of Appeals and as a Summer Associate at a Fortune 200 company. She is actively engaged in diversity & inclusion efforts throughout the Colorado legal community as she works to facilitate upward mobility and promote unique perspectives in the law. Carissa also serves on the firm’s DE&I Task Force.
