Allison Tungate Mikulecky is a Litigation Associate in Sherman & Howard’s Litigation Group, focusing her practice on assisting her clients with disputes arising out of commercial contracts, business torts, construction contracts,  government contracts, and business and corporate governance issues.  Since joining Sherman & Howard in 2015, Allison has counseled clients and litigated cases on their behalf in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration, in areas of business, construction, government contracts, and employment.  She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2015.  While attending, she served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law.  Allison earned her B.A. in Political Science and Public Relations, cum laude, from Webster University in 2011.  While at Webster University, Allison played on the women’s tennis team and currently holds the school’s records for Best Singles Record (Career) and Most Doubles Wins (Season).

Representative Matters
  • Trial and appellate experience in state court, federal court, and arbitration, including obtaining favorable rulings on motions for summary judgment, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, replevin, and forcible entry and detainer actions.
  • Represents general contractors and subcontractors in lien, payment, defect, warranty, trust fund, and other general construction related claims.
  • Represents business entities of various types, sizes, and industries in contract, payment, landlord/tenant, governance, and related disputes.
  • Collaborates with general contractors and subcontractors on pre-litigation and risk management strategies, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Represents and defends individuals and businesses in tort-based actions, including defamation, negligence, and fraud claims.
