Reminder: Federal Minimum Wage Increased
By Ted Olsen
As of July 24, 2009, the federal minimum wage rose to $7.25 per hour, pursuant to 2007 legislation. This is the last increase that has been authorized. This increase is of no practical significance in Colorado and other states with laws setting a higher minimum wage. Colorado's minimum wage remains $7.28.
